Landsports, played every waking hour, got a big boost in 1994, when our new "Plat-Forum" sports complex -- with synthetic "sportcourt" surface -- gave us a brand new Basketball court and made Tamakwa among the first camps to have a professional In-line skating and Hockey rink.

"Half-Court" Tennis on artificial turf is played like regulation tennis, but in a space half the size. The players however come in a variety of sizes. The rest of our land sports include: archery, volleyball, softball, soccer, tetherball, ping pong, horseshoes and track & field.

• A climbing wall and two new elements on our Ropes Adventure Course. The additions bring greater challenge and diversity to the existing and already popular elements.

• Fully renovated ball field, complete with professional fence, dugouts and bleachers. Our new field now accommodates regulation baseball as well as softball, soccer, ultimate Frisbee and other sporting events.

• Shuffleboard has made a popular return after many years absence from our Landsports program.
