So you left all your worries and your troubles at the door…
These alumni left their thoughts in the Tuck Shop mailbox for us all to share.
My email is SouthTea@aol.com, so, you can see how camp is with me everyday, everywhere I go. Living in Newport Beach, Ca. I would like to hear from all my fellow Tamakwan's. Ronnie Felsot, 1955-63 and Post Camp 83-91
Tripping rules! How How to all long trips and the adventurous souls who get to see Algonquin! Dan Sheill, 1988-90
It's the most unbelievable experience. It is the people that make it what it is. I love Tamakwa!!!! Ali Schram, 1992-present
When I grow up, I want to be a camper again. Ari Fisher, 1982-84
The good times and the better, the memories will stay with me forever. I loved my CIT year the most and can't wait to come back for more in the future! Thanks to you all for the great time and amazing memories! Especially the good friends I will have and cherish forever. Tony Hosking, 1989-91
I love the website and was feeling a little nostalgic. Even 20 years later, my years at Camp are so cherished. Even today, I reflect on some of the best years of my life. Julie Steinhauer, 1977-86
"Stop the infernal buzzing" Jim Arons, 1968-76 & every year since, (Camp Doctor and post-season tripper)
I still have dreams that I'm going to camp the next day. The best dreams ever. So real I can feel and smell the air of camp. It's overwhelming. Sometimes I can feel myself smiling in my sleep. But I always wake up to the sound of an alarm, not a bell, and the reality sinks in. It's so disappointing. Matt "Eggs" Egrin
...I make regular visits to the web page because I always feel the warmth from Tamakwa's shores through the computer (It's true). I have yet to have visited without turning off the computer with a smile on my face and a good memory in my heart. Shaindy Mintz
Been to many beautiful places in my life but I will always have the warmest memories of:
Sunset on the lake
Wilderness and peace surround us
watch the evening break
memories of days together
the friends we've made
shall remain
though stars may fall above
Tamakwa is love... Susan Weinsaft, 1966-71
If you don't say how-how at least once a day, Wakonda will be really angry. Larry Levite, 1952-57 & 21 postcamps
